More Than a Preschool: Creating Hope-filled Homes

Recently, I went out with Kara Unale, our Director of Housing, to learn more about what her team does. I’ve spent time talking with our case managers, the ones who walk alongside families as they set goals, face roadblocks, and track progress, but seeing it for myself was something else entirely.
Many people who love Cuidando Los Niños don’t even realize we have a housing department. We do. And it’s robust. We serve around 40 families at a time through five case managers and additional support staff. Yes, Cuidando is a high-quality early childhood education center, but we are not just a preschool.
