‘Giving Machine’ raises a whopping $198K for nonprofits

During last year’s holiday season in New Mexico, a different kind of vending machine raised a lot of money for good causes.
“Light The World Giving Machines” are getting a warm welcome in many cities, and Albuquerque was one of 126 cities worldwide selected to host one at the Cottonwood Mall. The total has now been tallied, and $198,000 was the result of an amazing outpouring of goodwill toward men, women, and children.
